Trivia

As revealed by concept sketches made public on the DVD, Soundwave was originally designed with four legs, akin to a centaur. See more »

Goofs

Since the show often recycled their CGI assets, this meant that the jet flown by Agent Fowler has all sorts of robot-bits on it because it used the same animation model as Dreadwing's and Skyquake's jet forms. See more »

Alternate Versions

The Japanese dubbing turned the originally solemn and serious series into a more jovial children's cartoon show. Some of the characters were given funny-sounding voices and a lot of comical chatter was added to the dialog. A few characters were re-imagined completely - for example, Airachnid turned from a vengeance-fueled sadist into an over-the-top love-obsessed stalker of teenage boys. The moody orchestral theme-tune was also replaced with an upbeat pop song. Further, season 3 in its entirety was ignored by the Japanese dub, and the big cliffhanger from the second season finale was also removed. Instead, an entirely new mini-series titled Transformers: Go! was created to replace season 3. The reason for all these changes is that in Japan, the Transformers franchise is regarded strictly as children's property, and the serious tone of the cartoon's original American version clashed greatly with this perception. A pretty awesome show
27 March 2013 | by racramanSee all my reviews

I know what i'm talking about when I say, THIS SHOW IS AMAZING!!! I used to watch this show every night at 6:00pm after school, but sadly, the series ended, oh well, guess i'll just have to wait till series 3 comes out. It's actually something to look forward to after a tiring day at work, school etc.

I love how they've made the transformations all complex like the live action movie trilogy. It makes a great evening show for those between 10 and dead. It has cutting edge technology designs and an good choice of characters.

This show follows a good and basic story. I recommend watching.
