Trivia

Red's opening monologue includes five seagulls gags, jokes about the LA smog, and demonstrations of how you can tell where a person hails from by the way they walk down the street. After a musical interlude featuring a harmonica player, the first sketch, "Hobo's Dilemma", displays Freddie the Freeloader hiding in a railroad boxcar with a live cow and convincing a young runaway boy named Jimmy Andrews that the hobo's life is not that great. Another musical treat features two young tap dancers, then Cauliflower McPugg is visited by a mobster with instructions to throw his next bout. The skit turns serious when McPugg refuses the demand and explains to the hoodlum why it is not the American thing to do.
