Soulless and Revelations
18 November 2012 | by claudio_carvalhoSee all my reviews

SPOILER: Castiel probes Sam and Dean leans that Sam has no soul that is in cage with Lucifer. Dean suspects of Samuel and he joins his team with Sam to hunt the vampire Alpha. Dean sneaks out and sees Samuel capturing the Alpha and taking him in a van for interrogation. Sam plants a GPS in Samuel's car to follow him with Dean and they discover that their grandfather wants to find out where purgatory is. The Alpha escapes and subdues Sam, but Dean vanquishes the Alpha injecting dead man blood in him. Out of the blue, Crowley appears and tells that he had brought Sam and Samuel back from Hell since he is powerful now. Further, Christian is a demon and Samuel is helping Crowley to capture Alphas since they have an agreement.

"Family Matters" is an episode with many revelations about Sam and Samuel. The boring plot of this Sixth Season is getting more and more complicated, giving the sensation that the writers are lost. I miss the simple and effective episodes of the hunters Dean and Sam from the first seasons. My vote is six.
