Lynette is determined, more than ever, to break up Preston's upcoming marriage to the gold-digging Irina since Preston refuses to listen to anyone about his Russian bride's true nature. With a little help from Tom, Lynette does a background check on Irina and discovers the truth. Meanwhile, Gabrielle offers to help out Bob and Lee in the most generous way by offering her eggs to be their surrogate, but she does not consider the consequences. After both Andrew and Orson express suspicion about Sam, Bree begins to question his motives over Sam running her cooking business. Also, Susan gets creative to help Mike with his finances since his pride and male ego makes him not wanting to ask for any help. Elsewhere, Patrick Logan secretly arrives in Fairview and, unbeknown to Angie or Nick, makes contact with his biological son, Danny, who doesn't know Logan's true identity or agenda. Good start to the finale
20 May 2010 | by wait-hereSee all my reviews

Desperate Housewives has done it again. They give us all these great story-lines full of mystery, leaving us with so many questions. Like always, the answers were right in front of us. Of course, Angie Bolen and her family are a big part of it this year but, the other residents of Wisteria Lane and there problems too. This episode was fantastic! Great pacing, great writing, and Felicity Huffman has never been better. I can't wait for the next episodes to see how everything unravels.

This season is like many other seasons, they enter a new resident, create all this mystery about them. This year, it's Angie Bolen (played fantastically by Drea De Matteo), a real Italian woman with a checkered past. As this season grew on, we discovered many things about her and the life she had before coming to Fairview. It seems that this episode is the catalyst for her and her secrets.

The usual housewife whose story stuck out this episode was Lynette Scavo (played to absolute perfection by Felicity Huffman), whose son is set to marry a gold-digging Russian woman.

Not to spoil anything but the ending to this episode is spectacular and you feel happy but at the same time sad. While for craving more...
