Sex & Nudity

  • No sex or nudity, but there are suggestive scenes parents might want to be aware of.
  • There is one kiss scene at the beginning of the movie.

Violence & Gore

  • A train crashes at the end, and one of the cars ends up ok with no one injured, but the other violently crashes, resulting in a large explosion and lots of destruction. The man inside is presumably killed.
  • A man is pushed in front of a vehicle and gets run over and killed.
  • A dead body is seen hidden beneath a coach's floor. It seems bruised but the scene is not graphic.
  • Two men get into a brief fist fight inside a train car, and they repeatedly punch and kick each other. They can be seen bloodied afterwards.
  • A man is seen dead, seemingly burnt, inside a locked coach.
  • A man quickly stabs multiple people with a small knife. No blood is shown.
  • A man falls out of a train, and manages to pull himself back on, but he is hurt slightly.
  • Two men get into a lengthy and brutal fist fight in a train car that ends when one of them is pushed out of one of the windows and killed.
  • There's a brutal final fight scene in a crashed train car between one man and several passengers. Some people are stabbed but no one is killed.


  • 1 use of 'f**k', 6 uses of 'hell', 4 uses of 'Goddamn', 3 uses of 'shit', 2 uses of 'asshole', 1 use of 'bitch', 5 uses of "Jesus", "Christ", and "Jesus Christ" collectively as an exclamation, 1 use of 'bastard', and 5 uses of "oh my God".

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There's a sense of threat and dread throughout the whole film. The further the film goes the more mysterious and intense it gets. The last third gets violent and pretty intense as the mysteries become revealed.
  • A man falls out of the bottom of a train, but survives and manages to pull himself back inside.
  • The three fight scenes are pretty brutal and intense.
  • The train crash scene is very intense.

  • Alex is shot by a sniper in the third act. While you do see him get hit no blood can be seen.
