Leatherface (2017)

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)
The outdoor shot of the dead armadillo is an exact remake of the shot in the original.
Saw (2004)
When Heather enters the carnival and is being chased by Leatherface, Leatherface bumps into a person in a red cape and pig mask who is wielding a chainsaw and scaring the carnival-goers. The pig masked person says "Do you wanna play a game?" This is a reference to the Saw movies and more specifically to Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights. Universal has actors dressed similarly with chainsaws chase people around the area where the Saw-themed maze is held. At the end of each night, these same actors do a "chainsaw chase out", where they chase all the guests out to the exit.
Saw II (2005)
The girl working at the scare house is seen wearing the pig mask and robe first seen in Saw II which is also distributed by Lionsgate.
Butcher Boys (2012)
The name on the headstone of Heather's mother is "Sissy," which is also the name of the heroine in Butcher Boys (2012), originally written by Kim Henkel as a sequel to his The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974). Another evil character played by Ritchie Montgomery is named "Ollie," which is one of the main antagonists in Butcher Boys (2012) portrayed by Tank Turner.
