Spies in Disguise Trailer #2: Tom Holland & Will Smith Are the World's Flyest Spies

We have a brand new trailer for Spies in Disguise. This animated movie was originally produced by 20th Century Fox but, thanks to the recent merger, is now technically going to be a Disney release later this year. They've got some major star power in the form of Will Smith, who is just coming off of his biggest hit ever with Aladdin, and Tom Holland, who is back as Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Far From Home this week. Based on this new trailer, it looks like this is going to be a winning combination, assuming the movie around them can all come together in an equally satisfying way.

The trailer kicks off by firmly setting up that Will Smith's character, much like James Bond or Ethan Hunt, in his circles, is about as good as they come. He pulls off some amazing, seemingly impossible spy business. All seems well. We're

L.A.’s Finest, the female-led TV spinoff of the Bad Boys movies, will get another season on streaming platform Spectrum Originals.

L.A.’s Finest will see stars Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba continue their City of Angels-set buddy cop comedy for a second season.

Spectrum Originals, the Charter Communications-owned small screen platform on which L.A.’s Finest streams on demand, has officially renewed the series for Season 2. It’s a rather quick turnaround for the show – a spinoff of the Bad Boys films of Will Smith and Martin Lawrence – having only debuted on May 13, utilizing a rather unique release strategy of dropping a few episodes a week, rather than conventional strategies of weekly episodes or the Netflix full-season binge-dump. Indeed, the first season of L.A.’s Finest will premiere the last of its 13-episode run on Monday, June 17.

Jordan Peele and J.J. Abrams Respond to Georgia’s Anti-Abortion Law With Charity Donations
The backlash against Georgia’s anti-abortion “Heartbeat Bill” continues. “In a few weeks we start shooting our new show, ‘Lovecraft Country’ and will do so standing shoulder to shoulder with the women of Georgia,” the companies said in a statement. “Governor Kemp’s ‘Fetal Heartbeat’ Abortion Law is an unconstitutional effort to further restrict women and their health providers from making private medical decisions on their terms. Four Hollywood Production Companies Boycott Georgia Over Anti-Abortion ‘Heartbeat’ Bill
Four companies so far have pledged to boycott the state of Georgia for new film and TV productions until the new legislation that bans abortions as early as six weeks into pregnancy is reversed.

The Wire” creator David Simon and his Blown Deadline Productions, Killer Films CEO Christine Vachon, Mark Duplass and his Duplass Brothers Productions and “Triple Frontier” producer Neal Dodson on behalf of his CounterNarrative Films alongside J.C. Alyssa Milano Joins Growing Georgia Boycott in Response to Anti-Abortion Heartbeat Bill
Earlier this week, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed the controversial “Heartbeat Bill” banning nearly all abortions in the state. As Georgia has become an increasingly popular filming location in recent years, industry observers have been expecting a response from Hollywood — and it appears to be here.

Alyssa Milano is among the first wave of actors and executives calling for a boycott. “I will do everything in my power to get as many productions as possible — including ‘Insatiable’ — to move out of this state which continues to put forth oppressive, hurtful policy that contradicts everything the entertainment industry stands for,” she told TheWrap.

Milano is an outspoken activist who often speaks about the Time’s Up and #MeToo movements, among others, and previously called on productions to no longer film in Georgia following Kemp’s controversial election amid accusations of voter suppression last year.

“Should people wait to boycott? No. Should

Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie and More 2019 Star Salaries Revealed
Hollywood stars owe Netflix a big thank-you.

The streaming service is bolstering pay packages for the most famous actors in the business at a time when studios are getting downright stingy about writing generous checks. Ryan Reynolds, for instance, is getting $27 million to star in “Six Underground,” a Michael Bay film about a billionaire-financed vigilante squad, and Denzel Washington asked for $30 million to topline an action film for the company before opting to pass in favor of other projects. An insider disputes that Washington was ever offered a specific salary. Will Smith will likely score $35 million from Netflix in exchange for reprising his role as a wisecracking cop in “Bright 2.”

On the face of it, those figures are larger than what more traditional studios are willing to shell out for stars. Smith and Martin Lawrence once commanded $20 million a picture, but both actors are shaving their asking prices to
