From Rom-Coms to Dramas: All the Places You Can Still Watch Meghan Markle's Movies
Now don't get me wrong, I am absolutely obsessed with Meghan Markle's new life as a royal and her fairy-tale romance with Prince Harry, but every now and then, I find myself wondering what her life was like before she became the Duchess of Sussex. What books did she read? What were her favorite vacation spots? More specifically, what was she like as an actress? Before Meghan found love with Harry and moved across the pond, she starred in a whopping seven seasons of the USA legal drama series Suits, and she was damn good. How do I know this? Because I watched all seven seasons after I found out they were on Amazon Prime, of course. Still, this isn't the only thing Markle has appeared in. In addition to Suits, the royal starred in a couple Hallmark films of her own and made a handful of cameos in some pretty big movies.

Driven Trailer: The Crazy True Story Behind The DeLorean

We have a brand new trailer for Driven. This biopic sets out to tell the tale of John DeLorean, the man behind the DeLorean, a car that was immortalized in Back to the Future. While the car is iconic, the story behind the man who created it is one that not many are familiar with, but that doesn't make it any less fascinating. This first trailer showcases Jason Sudeikis (Horrible Bosses) as Jim Hoffman, the man who helped bring down John DeLorean, played by Lee Pace (Guardians of the Galaxy).

The trailer kicks off by setting up the friendship between John DeLorean and the character played by Jason Sudeikis. We also get a glimpse of how the world views the auto industry titan, which is in very high esteem. The two pair up to try and get the DeLorean Motor Company off the ground and it all seems like a scrappy success story,

‘Little’ Review: Marsai Martin’s Big Performance Almost Saves a Very Stunted Comedy

The word on Tina Gordon’s “Little,” a slapdash modern inversion of “Big,” is that “Black-ish” star Marsai Martin came up with the idea for the movie when she was only 10 years old, and became the youngest executive producer in Hollywood history when the thing actually went into production a few years later. That’s a nice bit of trivia, but “the hacky premise for this studio comedy was pitched by the child star of a network sitcom” may not be the strongest hook for a PG-13 comedy that’s aimed at adults (though also still appropriate for older kids). If anything, it sounded like a chintzy excuse to soft-pedal another lazy remake at a time when audiences are desperate for original fare that rewards their decision to leave Netflix at home for the night.

And maybe it was. The finished product won’t exactly disabuse you of your most

PGA Milestone Award Honoree Toby Emmerich On How Warner Bros. & New Line ‘Hits ‘Em Where They Ain’t’

  • Deadline
In presenting the Producers Guild of America’s Milestone Award to Warner Bros. Pictures Group Chairman Toby Emmerich tonight, A Star Is Born director and star Bradley Cooper shared his experiences about the studio boss that underscored Emmerich’s innate ability to gamble on raw talent, and win.

Not only did Emmerich take a chance on having a young Cooper cast in Wedding Crashers back in 2005, but the studio boss rolled the dice on the actor again when he asked to make the fourth remake of a movie as a first-time director-writer with a pop singer who hadn’t previously starred in a major studio motion picture.

“He took a huge swing [on me], the same as he trusted [Wedding Crashers director] David Dobkin,” Cooper said tonight.

Even more sublime for Cooper was how Emmerich allowed him to change the ending of A Star Is Born halfway through production “against all logic and mass market research,

The Peacock Network is moving forward with a serial television adaptation of the Jeffery Deaver crime novel-turned 1999 movie, which starred Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. However, the small screen adaptation will brandish the title, Lincoln, named after investigator main character Lincoln Rhyme.

Last November, NBC committed to bringing the murky murder mystery of The Bone Collector to television with a premium script – adapting Deaver’s original 1997 novel of the same name – by the duo of VJ Boyd and Mark Bianculli. The series – a production of Universal Television and Sony Pictures Television in association with Keshet Studios – will see the scribes joined by executive producers in Avi Nir, Alon Shtruzman, Peter Traugott, and Rachel Kaplan.
