Dream prince/groom, Rajan Bandyopadhyay, is happy preparing his arranged marriage to his friend from childhood, Divya, without inspiring romantic love. Divya contemplates calling it all off. The stately venue, an elegant manor hand-built by Scottish immigrant family Hill, is run by heiress/ sisters Amy, who superstitiously believes Wicca forces oppose any change to the legacy, and Zoe, who wants to turn it into a B&B. After Divya notices symptoms in Amy, Hank starts a perilous examination of patient and home. Evan is bordering on neurosis, Amy's grim prediction only adds to his all-to-real financial worries after falling victim to an investment scam which shocks Hank in surprising ways. Charlie Casey moves back in with Jill, only to be thrown out of her life completely.
