Chief's birthday
28 March 2017 | by JordanThomasHallSee all my reviews

The crew of the U.S.S. Appleby are wanting to buy a watch for Chief Petty Officer Nelson's (Jay C. Flippen) birthday. The problem is they don't have enough money, and seemingly the only person who has the money is Nelson himself. Ensign O'Toole (Dean Jones) arranges to break up their poker game and confiscate the money, and return it to him at a later date. The plan goes awry when Commander Stoner (Jack Albertson) catches them instead. Things go downhill from there, however, and the men's best laid plans have unintentional bad results. They must find a way to literally turn things around.
