When Hansel and Gretel first arrive at the candy witch's lair as children, Gretel pulls off the end of one of the icing icicles to eat it. In the next few shots, the icicle is shown as intact when it should have a blunted end.
At the beginning of the movie when Hansel and Gretel are fighting the witch in the woods Hansel grabs the witch and slams her down on a log behind him. When the witch starts to back away from Hansel the log is in two parts with about 2 to 3 feet between pieces. In the very next shot the log pieces are almost touching with a thin gap. As Gretel locks the witch in place in the air the log is back to a wide gap of 2 to 3 feet.
Muriel never speaks her name to Gretel, Hansel, or Ben. She specifically told Gretel that she, Gretel, wasn't worth of pronouncing any of her names back in the jail scene. Gretel then told Hansel after the witches' Sabbath firefight Muriel's name, a name she was never told, and then Ben states her name having never been in any company with Muriel, Hansel, Gretel or any other that spoke or mentioned Muriel's name.
When the Sabbath firefight is almost over & Muriel is shown flying away with Gretel in the background, one can see the horned witch and the witch with the crutch behind Gretel on screen right approaching her. After Mina gives Gretel a weapon and fires from both side directions, the witch with the crutch approaches correctly from the reversed camera angle with the other coming from the opposite direction as pictured just moments before.
Earlier in the scene before Hansel's assault on the witch's Sabbath, him, Ben, & Mina put up wire crisscrossed against trees in the most likely path of escape. This is the only one they are shown doing and yet when some escape the destruction, including Muriel, 3 with Muriel in the camera front are shown flying right into it with Muriel doing a last minute turn around. Then another witch that wasn't with them is shown looking over her shoulder only to get sliced. Muriel approaches the wire as though not having been there to stop just short.
In the edited version, when Gretel is attacked by the sheriff and his men, she's wearing a leather jacket over her vest and blouse. Once Edward saves her, she rolls over to see him going after the sheriff, and her jacket is gone. However, in the uncut film version the sheriff and his deputies are removing Gretels clothes and start to assault her, thankfully Edward stops them in the process and saves her. The edited film however doesn't show the extended assault scene so the jacket appears to be a clothing goof.
