It's intriguing enough.

Reaygo is convinced that Tom murdered his father George, without the evidence he can't hold him, Tom vows to solve the crime itself.

It is feeling like a Durbridge thriller, but still lacking some of the subtleties of the great writer.

We don't seem to be getting much information, I'm not sure we have enough facts to work out who's done it, Tom doesn't seem likely.

The clunky production values continue, the scenes of Wheatfield and Reaygo in the car look really bad. Thaw is very good, adding some real charisma, he had previously appeared in a Durbridge Serial, Bat out of Hell, as had the housekeeper Dorothy Frere, who'd been in A Game of Murder.

It's still intriguing, without being fully engaging.
