In a bus a party is going on. The people on board all have won a great deal in a street lottery. There are drinks and fireworks. The driver cautioned them repeatedly about the fireworks. Then someone puts one of the firecrackers under the seat of the driver and instead of breaking, the driver hits the gas. The bus drives into the water. The police try to save everyone, but one elderly lady dies. During the investigation it turns out that the lady, Mrs. Goedhart, was murdered under water.
