Storyline

Togger and his mates are determined to have fun with the caretakers unfixed door, seeing humorous potential in the units. New swipe cards are issued to students: Miss Dyson explains that they are used to show usage of rooms like libraries and gain reward points which can be exchanged for gifts and trips. Togger's gang paint the spare door to match the real doors, and catch younger pupils out with their fake rooms. Taylor taunts Nick that he is a racist until he raises a fist towards the younger boy - he is prevented by the appearance of Mrs. Bassinger. In the middle of the day, Baz and Annie go back to check on their father, and find him in a despondent, perhaps even suicidal mood. While he storms upstairs, Baz finds an empty bottle of his pills - he has no choice, he must call for help. Shannon learns more about Nick than she is comfortable with - that Nick provided the alibi for the friend of his who attacked a black youth.
