Annoyed that he was the last to find out about Nessa's situation Smithy disappears. His sister Rudi has no idea where he is but eventually Gavin tracks him down at a golf driving range and brings him home to face Nessa. However, whilst Smithy is prepared to do the decent thing and stand by Nessa, she makes it clear that she has no wish for him to see the baby. Gwen suggests that Nessa moves into Stacey's old room but Stacey, already feeling home-sick, sees this as a severance of her links with Barry and is not impressed to find that Gwen has brought a lorry-load of her belongings to Billericay. I loved this episode
23 June 2009 | by dodgysmurfSee all my reviews

Being a Welsh person from an all Welsh family this episode really spoke to me, it really showed how close a lot of Welsh families are, I couldn't cope with leaving my family and the goodbye at the end felt so strong and so real. I've been away from home and away from my family countless times and every time I have felt the calling back home, the amount of times i've needed to call home just to hear a familiar voice, find out what i've missed and to find out that i've been missed. It really shows how tightly knit the communities in small towns and villages of Wales really are. An Epic Episode of an Epic programme.
