Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • During a Gym wrestling match, Greg Heffley says "She's a girl, where do I grab her?!", which may imply a sexual joke. This could catch parents off-guard.

Profanity

  • In one scene, Rodrick uses the word "crappy".
  • Towards the end of the movie, someone says, "You're so freakin' dead."
  • Some mild themes of bullying; a group of teenagers are rude to Greg and Rowley in one scene they spray them with water and chase them and in another they demand Rowley to eat a moldy piece of cheese off the ground, which he does. Also a couple other characters may seem to be portrayed somewhat as bullys.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The lights turn off as rodrick makes up a story in an attempt to scare kids about the "devil worshiper woods". As well as the scene where Greg and Rowley cross through the woods at night and are frightened by an approaching shadow, which happens to just be their classmate as they run away. This is all played for comedic effect but could possibly be a bit frightening to some young viewers. Other than this, none.
