Storyline

01 "They Bite" Luke Rutherford is an average teenager - until his dead father's best friend, Rupert Galvin, enters his life, and a small hideous creature attacks him. Galvin has come to tell Luke that he is the great-grandson of the legendary Abraham Van Helsing. Luke's destiny is to fight against the supernatural entities swarming the earth after he fights a small demon. But half-life Gladiolus Thrip (Mackenzie Crook) has discovered Luke's secret as well. He kidnaps Ruby, imprisoning her in a tomb and gagging her with duct tape, before his apparent destruction. Written by Anonymous

A pleasant surprise.
1 August 2009 | by the_real_smileSee all my reviews

This series is a welcome surprise to bulk of standard series that is on the TV nowadays. OK the new Knight Rider is well made, there is Painkiller Jane etc. and yes most TV series are the same old stuff in a new skin, and it's done 100's of times. A series like Demons, well of course there are other demon series, like Buffy the vampire slayer and Angel and in a way it has things in common with those shows. But this series has a good combination of humor, action and originality. I don't know why you have to write a minimum of 10 lines, personally I like short comments, so the only thing left to say is: watch this series, it will not disappoint you.
