The Replicator is compared to the T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991). The T-1000 was played by Robert Patrick who played Colonel Marshall Sumner, the commander of the Atlantis expedition's military contingent, in Stargate: Atlantis: Rising (2004). See more »

Though this was supposed to be taking place in the Washington, DC area, during the first warehouse encounter with the replicator the city of Vancouver Canada can be seen across the water and the fire alarm box has wording in English and French. See more »

Kari Wuhrer & Stargate Atlantis
24 January 2008 | by founder-11See all my reviews

Stargate Atlantis has grown to become it's own show very well after riding on the heals of SG1 for a few years.

The cast is excellent and although I really liked Amanda Tapping on SG1 I feel that she is not doing as well on Atlantis. She's better as a scientist and not as a commander. I would have liked to have seen Michael Shanks take on that position since it was not meant to be a military role and he's got a lot of experience.

It's nice to see Kari Wuhrer in this episode. The first time I saw Kari was on Sliders and she was great on that SciFi show for several years.

I hope she finds a permanent role on Atlantis!!
