Storyline

Lindsay and Jacobi investigate the drowning-in-a-toilet-bowl murder of a drag queen on the eve and day of Tom and Heather's wedding. Lindsay throws herself into the case to avoid thinking about her ex getting remarried, even as some of her co-workers plan on attending the nuptials. Suspects in the killing include a rival performer and the parents of the dead man's biological son, who as "Republicans" find the fact that their son's father (via a sperm donor bank) was a "pervert" repulsive.
