Andy invites the whole gang to his new suburban home (along, unbeknownst to them, with his and PJ's parents Frank and Elieen and a number of neighborhood families). Only after PJ points it out does he realize he's practically recreated the parental home he wanted so long to leave behind. Bobby, who nearly couldn't make it, gets lost while trying to drive himself alone from one Chicago suburb to another. The other boys are disappointed that it's a couples-only barbecue, leastwise till attractive single mom Rachel shows up, starting a cutthroat competition for her attention.

What the hell is that noise? It's driving me crazy.
Those are the cicadas.
The cicadas. They're, uh, they're insects. They're kind of special, actually. They spend most of their lives underground and then, every seventeen years, they come up out of the ground to mate.
