Oh dear is all i can say, i have read Susan Hill's books and to say this was by no means a reflection of her writing.. I can only think that this was poor directing or acting, i only know of one of the characters and i have never gone much on his acting either, Edward Merriman the character.. It is such a shame that a films story line will never be as in depth as the book and that is most definitely the case here.
I have never watched the woman in black because the book was so good.. All i will say is READ THE BOOK...
