Nice and Funny Tribute to Eastwood

All-Star Party for Clint Eastwood (1986)

*** 1/2 (out of 4)

Bea Arthur, Sammy Davis, Jr., Cary Grant, Bob Hope, Merv Griffin, Don Siegel, James Stewart and Don Rickles are guests who honor Clint Eastwood for his achievements in acting, directing and producing as well as his humanitarian contributions.

If you're a fan of Eastwood or these old fashion tribute shows then you'll certainly want to check this out for a number of reasons. For starters, the guest line up of speakers is quite excellent but you've also got a wide range of stars in the audience and the majority of them get the typical hilarious abuse from Rickles. These people include Charles Bronson, Zsa Zsa Gabor and Fred MacMurray among others.

Overall this here is a very funny way to spend a hour and it also marks the last appearance from Cary Grant. This here was recorded on September 28, 1986 and he passed away on November 30 of that year. This here was actually shown on television the day after Grant's death and came with a small tribute at the end.
