Storyline

It's Tony's birthday and he and Carmela are planning to spend the weekend with Bobby and Janice at their cottage. It doesn't start off well when Tony is arrested on a gun charge by the local police. He's quickly released when the local Sheriff drops the charges but the Feds will roll the charge into their RICO investigation. The weekend at the lake with Bobby and Janice starts off well, though too much alcohol and a competitive game of Monopoly leads to Bobby and Tony having a fight. Tony sends him to Montreal to do a hit, something Bobby has never done. AJ throws a party while his parents are away. Phil Leotardo is home again after recovering from his heart attack and a stretch of physical therapy. He seems to have little interest in assuming any leadership role in his family. Trivia

During the monopoly game, Tony mocks Bobby while imitating the actor W.C. Fields. Tony is shown twice throughout the series watching "Its a Gift"(1934), which stars W.C. Fields. See more »

Goofs

Tony is arrested at his front door. As the cop cuffs him, the camera gives a closeup of the handcuffs being hooked up. Tony's right is cuffed, then as the actor playing the cop goes to cuff Tony's left, he pushes the wrong side of the cuff against Tony's wrist. The camera cuts away and you hear the cuff ratchet closed but there is no way the cuff would have gone on. See more »

Quotes

Bobby 'Bacala' Baccalieri: My pop bought this place 'cause it was close to Canada. He had ties to Montreal. You know, Tone. And his father, my grandpop, come into the country originally through Montreal illegally.
Carmela Soprano: No kidding. He wasn't Ellis Island, your grandfather?
Bobby 'Bacala' Baccalieri: Nah. Got mixed up in some shenanigans on the other side. Anti-government or somethin'. Had a police record... They oughta build a wall now though. I'm tellin' ya.
[everyone nods]
Carmela Soprano: Amen.

Beat down

Tony and Carmela pay a visit to Janice and Bobby in their new digs way up north. AJ throws a party at the Soprano house in their absence. The high point of the episode has Tony constantly needling Janice until Big Bad Bobby's had enough. He proceeds to beat up Tony real good. Watching these two aging grizzly bears go at it is a bit scary as the fight is staged like all fights on this show: no-holds barred and uber-realistic. Having the two women screaming for their men to stop only adds to the sense of danger. Also, it is a shocker to see Tony laid out on the floor, semi-conscious, only a few episodes after watching him almost die after being shot point-blank.
