Trivia

The lawyer representing the studio in a sexual harassment suit is from law firm "Gage-Whitney". This company is also the employer of character Sam Seaborn before he joins the first "Bartlet for America" campaign in another Aaron Sorkin creation - The West Wing (1999). See more »

It is Wednesday night and Matt is talking to Danny in his office and the countdown timer initially reads 0 days and 20 hours, which is wrong because the show is on Fridays. A scene further along the episode shows the countdown timer corrected to 1 day and 18 hours. See more »

Quotes

[Tom and Cal have accidentally chopped the head off a RealCare baby with a guillotine]
Danny Tripp: How's it goin'?
Tom Jeter: Good.
Danny Tripp: OH MY GOD!
Tom Jeter: 'cept that we beheaded the baby.
Danny Tripp: The hell did you do?
Cal Shanley: Problem?
Danny Tripp: Yes, it's a problem. This is a special doll with... with computer sensors.
Cal Shanley: I've heard about those things. RealCare babies, they're supposed to be indestructible.
Danny Tripp: Yeah, they are, unless you drop an 80 pound hydraulic axe on their head.

The revolving door of women characters continues, as Hallie Galloway mysteriously disappears, much like Martha O'Dell did previously, replaced this time by Mary Tate, a sexual harassment lawyer.

This episode has its moments, but again Danny and Jordan are stuck acting out a plot that looks like its been lifted from a romantic comedy, and it doesn't always work.

I liked all the Matt and Harriet stuff though, with both Matthew Perry (who was such a revelation in this show) and Sarah Paulson playing it so beautifully.

A thinner episode, but one that has many plus points.
