At 4:05 when Mitchell checks the DHD you can clearly see the symbol for earth. This is not possible as the point of origin symbol is unique on each Stargate and DHD. However the symbol for Earth is used as a point of origin only if dialing from Earth. On another planet, it could be used as part of the six gate address in order to travel to a totally different planet. Claiming that the Earth symbol should not be on other DHDs is analogy to claiming that the E symbol should not be as the longitude co-ordinates of maps if used somewhere in the east. See more »

Dr. Daniel Jackson: We're stuck.
Vala Mal Doran: No we're not. Well, when we fail to make the scheduled check in, General Landry will dial in, at which point we'll ask him to send a naquadah generator and a laptop with a dialing program and that's that!
Dr. Daniel Jackson: We knew that! I thought that when I said that we're stuck, that you would know that I meant "until then."
Vala Mal Doran: Well, then you should say what you mean.
Dr. Daniel Jackson: I don't think you want me to start doing that.
Vala Mal Doran: I don't think you want to start thinking what I think.

Well, well... quite a nice episode.
25 October 2010 | by bitburger2000See all my reviews

It does not belong to any story line and reminded me of the first Stargate SG-1 seasons, when plots were a bit more innocent, without leaving the viewer with a heavy heart.

SG-1 has bad luck and ends up within an alien museum of a species, that has not had any contact to an outer world civilization before. One bad thing leads to another, and our heroes are unwillingly forced to take some hostages, after the museum is sealed off, trying to find a way home. Unfortunately people think SG-1 is not from another planet, but rebels from their own world. What leads to a lot of humor, filling the whole episode.

Still sticking in my mind: Daniel's communication with the police man, he tries to convince, he is a rebel^^. But there are a lot of funny scenes, and because this one is a stand-alone episode almost everything fits as it should.

The missing star goes to some alien people, confirming some clichés, which are not necessary at all, making themselves a bit contrived.

But, nevertheless I really enjoyed this episode. As 9 stars show.
