Very poor edition in the Thornhill Diaries mega-series
I felt insulted, not merely disappointed watching this Volume 2 in the "Girls in White" series that doubles as Episode 2 of the omnibus "Thornhill Diaries" series from Girlfriends Films. Lack of care is evident in the production of this feature, and the carelessness continues, as the label recently released Episode 30 of the Diaries, stupidly misnumbering it, as a different video bearing that #30 was already issued several months earlier, both volumes in the ongoing "Twisted Passions" features set.
No credits are listed but I suspect actress Veronica Snow shares the blame, seeing as she wrote the story for Part 1 of which this is the continuation. Action picks up at the big sorority-style "coming out" party, literally celebrating the coming out of a new crop of beautiful small town lesbians.
As presaged in Part 1, Emilianna is up to no good, seducing lovely Brea who was engaged to Snow in Part 1, her ulterior motive being to get even with Veronica, an enemy. Problem is the improvised dialogue, plus poor acting and anonymous direction, leaves their opening segment both unconvincing and in very poor taste. Emilianna keeps repeating to the young girl that submitting sexually to her is part of the organization's initiation and that fiancée Veronica has sanctioned it. Brea asks the sort of questions anyone would ask presented with this goofy request, but submits meekly anyhow, and soon is humping away with a passion only seen in porn, not real life.
Veronica cornily walks in on them still clutching each other, gets mad and won't listen to Brea at all, calling off the betrothal and slamming the Iron Door on the poor but clearly dimwitted young thing. Emilianna is merely callous, almost gloating about how she put one over on the gullible teen.
This sort of action is what has given storyline porn a bad name - a couple of generations, judging by the marketplace popularity, has given up on traditional narrative Adult Entertainment and gone gonzo as a result. If the non-writing, story lines and direction are this bad is it any wonder that folks want to immediately cut to the chase?
Video never recovers, and even repeats the same predatory lesbian theme, poorly executed again, for a later segment where the great Nicole Moore bamboozles Brea who should have known better by now. Enough is enough. Clearly, there is an unwritten pact between the anonymous filmmakers and their loyal viewers (to which I am not a party, thank God) that one is supposed to swallow any sort of hogwash as long as it leads to a successful Sapphic coupling. No way, Jose.
Snow shows up and has a sex scene of her own with busty but tongue-tied (English is not her first language) Puma Swede, while attractive Kelly and Penny hook up for variety's sake - a young/young sex scene. Since I'm working on watching the entire "Diaries" series I hope it makes a comeback soon after such a rocky beginning.
