The Sarah Connor Chronicles had lots of problems as many people here have said. Mostly, I think it's just not a great story for the TV format. They were obliged to fill hours with excruciating slow scenes with everybody talking about their feelings and turning the whole thing into a soap opera with killer robots.
The basic story line itself was pretty interesting and definitely added something new to the Terminator saga. I would've liked to have seen where they were going to take it when it went off the air. They were setting up a lot of stuff for that third season that never aired. Has anybody ever picked up that plot line in a book or online story? I'd be interested in reading it. Summer Glau was pretty good as Cameron, and I loved every scene where Shirley Manson showed up.
