Chicago real estate lawyer Chuck Hartley's career is in a slump, so it feels bitter when his wife, genetic researcher Christine Hartley, asks him to set up a trust for the proceeds of her institute's successful project on predisposition to addiction. At Chuck's college reunion, she meets and starts an affair with Sam Buckner, a playful crime mystery author. That detonates a series of deceptions and crimes.Written by
Amanda Detmar,(Christine Hartley),"Alone in a Crowd",'05, played the role as a scientist who discovers some very important findings concerning addictions and will be worth millions of dollars for her scientific work. Christine is married to a lawyer, Jonathan Scarfe, (Chuck Hartley), "Rhinoceros Eyes", '03 who are both having some marital ups and downs with some cheating going on and the spark seems to have gone out in their bedroom. This story leads you down one path and then quickly bounces back in another direction. There is a certain party which goes on that just might give you some insight into what might be going on; but I doubt very much if you will be able to follow just where this story will end or who could possibly be involved in this mystery.
