Storyline

Carrie and Doug were happy. Doug had just gotten the perfect basement, it had a big screen TV, a fooseball table, everything he could ever want. But when Carrie's father accidentally burns his house down with his "lucky" hot plate, he has to move in with them, and Doug loses his basement.

It's a clean and nice beginning to the show.

The characters, their lives and current situation (family, relationship, job, etc.) are properly introduced in a nice way. The intonations of each character are really effective in delivering those jokes and other funny stuff.

Even though, Kevin James and Leah Remini just started with this show along with Jerry Stiller, they put up a really great and stress-relieving start to the series.

The development of significant events makes the entire series interesting to watch. The jokes and gags are really getting there; it's as if it makes the sitcom feel you and really entertain you.
