After Hutch and Mitchell pick up Starsky at the girl's apartment, they show a nighttime Vegas scene where the Edsel is making a left turn in front of the Four Queens Casino and Hotel Fremont. Several other nighttime casino views are shown then the same clip of the left turn at the Four Queens with the same vehicles is repeated. See more »

Originally broadcast as a two-hour season premiere, "The Las Vegas Strangler" was broken into two parts for syndication and appears as a two-part episode on DVD. A voiceover at the beginning of Part II says, "And now, the exciting conclusion of 'The Las Vegas Strangler.' No clips from the first half are shown to reacquaint viewers with the story thus far.
