Trivia

This was considered the first musical episode of the series, and included such songs as "Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo", "A Lonely Jew on Christmas" and "Kyle's Mom is a Big Fat Bitch". Trey Parker and Matt Stone were initially concerned about making a musical because, Parker said, "The general rule was people hated musicals". See more »

Goofs

Mrs. Broflovski complains that Kyle is playing Joseph of Arimathea in the nativity. She is thinking of the wrong Joseph. Joseph of Nazareth was married to Mary; Joseph of Arimathea was the man who gave up his tomb so that Jesus could be buried there. See more »

Great Christmas episode!
25 December 2008 | by gangstahippieSee all my reviews

I always enjoyed the Christmas episodes of South Park! I even bought the DVD compilation of all the Christmas episodes recently! This is the first Christmas episode that was out(not counting the spirit of Christmas shorts). This was a fairly good episode and I enjoyed it.Christmas has come to south park but Kyle feels left out because he is Jewish while virtually everyone else is Christian and celebrating Christmas.Kyle keeps seeing this talking piece of poo named "Mr.Hankey", but everyone else thinks he is crazy.Meanwhile, Kyle's mother is upset about the nativity scene being in a school play, which starts everybody else asking for things to be removed from the Christmas play that seem offensive. This is a funny and great Christmas episode! Two interesting notes: 1.This marks the first time the school counselor Mr.Mackey is seen. 2.In this episode, Cartman sings the "Kyle's mom is a b*tch song" which was later used in the South Park movie.
