Storyline

Mike signs on as tech adviser to a movie company filming yet another version of The Count of Monte-Cristo. The director wants to shoot the underwater escape of Edmond Dantes from the Chateau d'If on location - in the sea. But the reckless leading man wants to do his own stunt - a stunt that no one has ever done before. Inventing the stunt and setting up the safety precautions are actually the simplest part. What makes matters worse is that the star's stand-in has a jealous streak several fathoms deep. Can Mike trust the stand-in? Will the brash leading man survive, or will this be his last shoot? Goofs

When two crew members are throwing Mr. Nelson into the sea, a dummy is obviously being used, because Mr. Nelson hits some shallows before diving, and hitting an immovable object from a significant height would otherwise result in injury or death. See more »
