Rough Night For Officer Gillis
3 March 2019 | by Jimmy_the_Gent4See all my reviews

Willie's on the midnight shift with a veteran partner who is killed in a shootout, the man's widow later shoots herself with Willie's gun.

A pretty good episode with some wild twists and turns. Character actor Malcolm Atterbury plays a wino who witnesses the shooting and the killer gets away. Howard Platt plays an angry cop who blames Willie for being gun shy, he would later be well known as comedy cop character Hoppy on "Sanford And Son". The killer escapes and looks to eliminate the wino witness.
