Richard Bakalyan back for a third and final time
9 August 2016 | by kevinolzakSee all my reviews

"The Calley Kid" was the third and final appearance of Richard Bakalyan, but not in the role of Bart Vogan (from the pilot and "The Threat"), but in the title role. The Calley Kid is an outlaw and bank robber notorious for his quick draw, but wounded in the leg during his last haul. His brother, Woody Dawson (Michael Vandever, previously seen in "He's Only a Boy"), assists him by knocking out Johnny Yuma and stealing his horse and possessions. Yuma tracks them down and tries to take Woody captive, but the Kid's fast draw proves too quick. Johnny is forced to remove the bullet from the Kid's leg with a knife, all the while helping Woody understand that this way of life should be avoided: "all you got coming is all you can take." It's not Bart Vogan but very similar, coming to an equally bad end.
