Did You Know?

This marks the 3rd mission in a row that features a minor character (though significant) with a connection to M*A*S*H (before M*A*S*H): Loretta Swit in this one, Larry Linville in the previous one (his third appearance) and Robert Alda (Alan Alda's father) in the first of the three. See more »

When the car driven by Connie Hastings (Sharon Acker) is stopped by a flat tire in the teaser, the license plate on the vehicle is shown in close-up, and it is not a real California plate. Although it has the same color (yellow characters on a blue background) and letter-number combination (a group of three of each) of a real plate, the characters on the plate are flat, not stamped into metal, it does not say "California" on top, and it lacks the tabs at the top left and right corners for the month and year of the car's registration. Interesting change of pace episode; Jim's home town
19 January 2018 | by shaksprynSee all my reviews

In this outing, Jim is visiting his old home town, where a serial killer appears to be responsible for brutal crimes. Jim gets the team involved in unmasking the villain. This is one of the rare episodes where the team goes into action to help Jim solve a problem that is not a government assignment. The other one that comes to mind is when a chum of his is in Spain, I think, victim of a frame-up. I thought this one was quite scary!
