Edward James Olmos just shines in this awesome episode
20 June 2019 | by nims-1975See all my reviews

The Golden Triangle Part I is an excellent first part of an excellent and awesome two part story with action, tension and absolutely brilliant acting. The first part also has some absolutely brilliant acting by Don Johnson, Philip Michael Thomas, Saundra Santiago, John Diehl, Olivia Brown, Edward James Olmos, John Snyder and Robin Johnson. When Crockett and Tubbs work undercover in a hotel, tension rises when they uncover and find out that the criminals are old enemies of Lt Castillo when Castillo spent 3 years in Thailand working for the DEA and that these Thai Criminals are linked to a dangerous and malicious Thai man called Gl Lao Li who Castillo knew when Castillo was in Thailand. This episode has some great action and is very intense and the great bit is when you see Lt Castillo come face to face with the dangerous Thai criminals and when he is in a fight using Martial Arts skills to fight against Gl Lao Li's Assassin. This first part was absolutely brilliant and it showed that Lt Castillo is a man that you don't mess with because he will know what to do if you cause major problems and use violence against him. Edward James Olmos's acting as Castillo in this episode was absolutely amazing and brilliant and it was fantastic to see him.
