A Lot More Than First Meets The Eye
4 November 2011 | by ccthemovieman-1See all my reviews

A great story or a hoax? That's the question nagging our hero, "Mike Kovac" (Charles Bronson) after he takes a picture of a supposedly-dead girl.

A singer is on trial for murdering "Helen Sprague" (Tracey Roberts) but free-lance writer "Jim Costigan" (Frank Faylen) calls Kovac and tells him he's going to meet Sprague but no one will believe him unless he takes her photo. Mike does that, and the defendant goes free.

However, there's a lot more to the story as we find out....a lot more. We also get to meet Mike's pro wrestling friend "Pete Mantee," who isn't the brightest guy in the world. Karl Lucas does a good job playing him.

Roberts should be noted, too, for her role as Sprague/Connie Sawyer.

It's another good episode filled with interesting characters.
