Alexandra Shabtai: You don't actually think I had something to do with Eliza's murder?
Detective Ed Green: You deal the same kind of drug that was found in her system. And a few hours before she was killed, you two were "talking" about money.
Detective Lennie Briscoe: In our neck of the woods, that adds up to a drug deal gone bad.
Alexandra Shabtai: Ugh... that is just insane.
Detective Lennie Briscoe: Uh... if I were you, that defense never works.
Tommy Avakian: You expect me to rat out my father, you son of a bitch?
Jack McCoy: It was *your* idea, Mr. Avakian.
Nicky Avakian: [after his son testifies against him] Tommy, look at me. You did what you had to do. If it had been me, I probably would've done the same thing.
Nicky Avakian: Better watch your back, Tommy.
Lieutenant Anita Van Buren: Okay, Mr. Slater...
Nick Slater: What am I supposed to do?
A.D.A. Serena Southerlyn: There's nothing to worry about. If the person's there, you'll let us know.
Susan Simels: And if he's not there, you'll let us know that, too.
Lieutenant Anita Van Buren: This is not your procedure, Miss Simels. Either shut up or leave.
A.D.A. Serena Southerlyn: Take a look at the men and tell us where you recognize anyone and where you recognize him from.
Nick Slater: I don't know.
Lieutenant Anita Van Buren: Take your time.
Nick Slater: It could be number 2.
Lieutenant Anita Van Buren: Would it help if they turned sideways?
Nick Slater: Maybe.
Lieutenant Anita Van Buren: Everyone please turn to your right.
Nick Slater: Number 2 looks like the guy.
A.D.A. Serena Southerlyn: Number 2 looks like the man you saw in the car that night?
Nick Slater: Yes.
Susan Simels: He looks like the guy, but you're not sure if he is the guy, right?
Lieutenant Anita Van Buren: Out, Counselor. Out.
Nick Slater: [Simels leaves] I guess I'm really not sure.
Lieutenant Anita Van Buren: All right, Mr. Slater. Thank you for your help.
Nick Slater: Did I do okay?
Lieutenant Anita Van Buren: You did fine.
