Storyline

Frank Buckley went to prison for killing Cameron Gault's son Jay and he took a secret to prison with him. Now it's five years later and he's back in Laramie, paroled to Slim Sherman and there are those in town that don't want him back. His only allies are Slim, Jess Harper and Laurie Allen, Doc Allen's daughter. It doesn't help Frank's case that Cameron Gault raised him as his own and that Chad Morgan, Gault's foreman, has designs on taking over the Gault empire and he's going to use every dirty trick in the book to make sure Frank Buckley goes back to prison. Morgan also targets Slim by threatening the stage drivers and nearly killing Jess by wrecking a stage. It's only when the secret is revealed that Frank and Laurie can get on with their lives and set the record straight about Jay Gault's death. Written by DarSpi

Five years earlier Charles Bronson was sent up for manslaughter in the death of Barton MacLane's son. The incident took place in the home of Dr. Herbert Bell whose daughter Kathleen Crowley was being courted by both men. Now Bronson is out and he's been paroled to the custody of Slim Sherman.

Bronson was an orphan kid who MacLane took in back in the day and raised him like his son. Kind of the way Don Corleone took in Tom Heggen and raised him with his natural kids. Imagine if you will if Heggen had killed one of them and you have some idea of the dynamics of the situation.

The one to watch in this Laramie episode is Dean Fredericks who plays MacLane's foreman. He's got a murderous hate for Bronson and an agenda all his own. The hate includes by extension anyone helping Bronson and that includes all at Sherman station.

There's a deep dark secret about the deceased that finally is revealed at the conclusion. A few fist fights and some gun play and who could want more in a western.
