Goofs

During the segment where David led the aliens into the radio transmitting station, the TV monitor was showing the security pictures in color even thought is was an RCA Victor black and white TV. Also the security footage panned and came in for tighter views even though the cameras were in fixed positions securely mounted to the wall with no gimbals. See more »

Reality With Sci-Fi
27 August 2016 | by StuOzSee all my reviews

Vincent and company invent a jamming device that will stop the alien saucers in flight.

There is some obvious padding to fill the 51 minute running time, note the footage of the vintage Ford car driving down that road to the base.

Roy Thinnes reveals there is more to his acting ability than previously seen in Counter-Attack and there are sci-fi thrills with a ray gun and a saucer crashing into the sea.

An all-round good episode that combines 1960s reality with 1960s sci-fi, which is the key to what makes this series so good. The same mix worked so well with the earthbound Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea series (even if that was set in the 70s and 80s).
