Trivia

Christy O'Keefe plays Emily's maid Sarah. She played the same role in Gilmore Girls: Haunted Leg (2002). In that episode Emily was trying to prove that she is not too demanding of her maids so she put up with Sarah who was in fact a horrible maid. It is surprising therefore that she would rehire an incompetent person. See more »

Goofs

Emily tells Lorelai and Rory that the panic room can stop a 9mm shell. 9mm handguns do not fire shells. They fire bullets. The only shell related to a 9mm handgun is the bullet's shell casing that ejects from the ejection port after the bullet is fired. But the actual projectile is a bullet. See more »

Luke Danes: hot fudge sundae, half a grapefruit.
Rory Gilmore: I don't want a grapefruit.

Lorelai Gilmore: The service is very rude. No tip for you.
