The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air

72 Hours

The origin of Will Smith's fame and too many mentions from The Graham Norton Show got me to binge watch this series which I think has a potential to be a typical one-time-watch sitcom. The creators made the relations pretty much clear from the first frame now all one seek and wait for is their character development through this journey with hopefully no dips on content or humor. The relation between Will Smith and Tatyana Ali seems interesting (something to look forward especially when she grows up) and is definitely supposed to bring the laughs whilst with James Avery there is a soft spot hidden in there.

As often happens, the first season is good and demands attention from the viewers wanting them more of the family drama which writers better deliver if not all of it but some of it (its diplomatic to keep big guns for the future) and would be wise of them if they keep an open-end on some tracks to pick up swiftly on season 2.

72 Hours had a new idea and was convincingly good in its first act after which everything went downhill from there after which the audience was just looking for a closure. Carlton trying to fit in Will's lifestyle is funny but they couldn't make it work.
