Storyline

Buck is heading off on a camping trip with his old friend Joe Whitecloud, their past camping trips which have always been marred by an on-going argument between the two, primarily about the special skills Joe purportedly possesses on living off the land solely because he's native American. But Buck vows to behave himself on this trip as he is taking Billy and Toby along as well - the boys' first ever camping trip - and wants to set a good example. But this trip disintegrates much like the others have before and much for the same reasons. Doris, who is as dismayed for the boys for missing their first ever camping experience as she is about the boys having to watch a petty argument between two grown men, tries, with Aggie and LeRoy's help, to figure out a way to resolve both issues.
