Character error 

Gil mentions to Nick that Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider and became Spider-Man in the 50s. Spider-Man's first appearance was in 1962 in Marvel Comics' "Amazing Adult Fantasy #15".

Continuity 

When Warrick makes a tracing of the knife, he does so rather sloppily. The two lines he makes do not meet each other, and the top one extends past the knife. Yet, when they measure the wound castings for the "blunt object", the tracing is perfectly done, with one solid line going from top to bottom.

When Catherine is combing the spores out of the dead guy's hair, she uses a piece of paper with no lines on it to catch the spores, but under the magnifying glass, the paper has lines.
