Storyline

Ben Laney, the son of a police captain, regularly flouts the law knowing that his father's precinct officers will smooth over ruffled feathers and pay for minor damages. Captain Laney's men don't want to tell their leader because they don't want to disillusion the old man who thinks his son is above reproach. This benign neglect only causes the boy to plot a serious crime - one that involves a gun. Written by David Bassler
