An excellent way to end the first season.

For the last show of season one, we get the Barkley clan (absent Victoria) riding on a train to the State Fair in Sacramento. Nick and Heath have a bet on who is going to win the shooting contest and Audrey is on her way to try her luck with the pickle contest. But during the train ride Audrey becomes sick but luckily there is a doctor, Travers, that is on the train. The unlucky part is that there are two other on the train that are set on bring Doc Travers to justice for some crimes in a town of Colbyville where he is accused of murder.

Audrey is experiencing pain from a swollen appendix which requires surgery. Doctor Travers is only hoping that the train will reach Sacramento before surgery is require or before the men capture and kill him.

Richard Anderson is terrific as the mild manner doctor that we discover has a checkered past. Plus we also get introduced to a man that blames the doctor for his wife's death. There are some problem with some of the dates given but is easily overlook due to the nice story. Good watch.
