Storyline

A man dies of what appears to be a suicide when he falls to his death. But his wife doubt it so she hires Barnaby to look into it. She tells him that she discovered he was unfaithful and threw him out. They think he was despondent of no longer having his wife's money but she says she would have cooled off and asked him to return. She says that she even hired another P.I. firm to check him out when she suspected he was unfaithful and they say he was clean. What they don't know is that the investigator who was assigned the case has been secretly extorting the people he investigates by keeping their secrets for a price. And when the man refused to pay him anymore he killed him.
