Never cross an old timer
17 February 2016 | by searchanddestroy-1See all my reviews

A bunch of hoodlums lead by an old timer - Keenan Wynn - pull an armed robbery in a jewel exchange store. But the caper gets awry where an old Jewish man is badly wounded by the gangsters. Baretta is asked for the investigation. And in the same time the robbers decided to cross the one who lead them to the job. Keenan Wynn who now intends to get the stolen jewels back to his own pocket. The story rapidly loses speed before sinking. That's the worst Baretta I have seen, boring, flat, except the female performance, the hoodlums's girlfriend. She is very convincing as this girl who suddenly realizes that she went too far and then tries to get back. And also Keenan Wynn's role too. But that's all folks. Choose another episode.
