Where there's smoke...

A small fire in the Bunker bathroom gives Archie ideas about getting a big insurance check.

Another disappointing later season episode. The first half is totally devoted to the family running around grabbing items to save from the fire, it seems like it will never end. This is also Teresa's last appearance, she doesn't have much to do, only the first few episodes gave her some funny bits. Roger C. Carmel (Harry Mudd from Star Trek and Roger Buell from The Mothers In Law) guest stars as an insurance man. Carmel, much slimmed down from the way he used to look, was a very talented comic actor but he is wasted in a part that gives him little chance to show it.
