Archie's bar finally has it's opening
17 April 2018 | by Jimmy_the_Gent4See all my reviews

Archie's Place has it's grand opening but his staff quits, leaving Edith, Mike and Gloria to help out on the first night.

Another lesser episode which strives hard for laughs but it's not very funny. It seems like any other sitcom now, without the provocative edge and hilarious comedy of the early seasons. It relies more on overacting and juvenile humor now. One significant thing is the last appearance of Sorrell Booke as Archie's boss Mr Sanders, who was in a much funnier episode "Archie's Helping Hand". The last scene shows a close up of a sad looking Edith, making it seems like the worst is yet to come, and it will.
